The Square D Irrigation Pivot Control Panel, C.l.P.,is designed to provide optimum reliability in motor control for irrigation equipment, even in the harsh extremes of prairie weather.
The spaciously designed C.l.P. can easily accommodate all standard and optional components to meet individual specifications. Square D has selectively engineered one C.S.A. Type OR enclosure with capacity for up to two pivot disconnects, and a second enclosure with capacity for six pivot disconnects.
To assure reliable and continuous duty, the main breaker, is individually tested, and once assembled, the C.l.P. unit is given a thorough final test and inspection. only when these rigorous tests are passed is the C.S.A. seal applied. 1 - EEMAC 3R Enclosure
* The C.I.P. enclosure is fabricated from heavy gauge steel to withstand knocks and bumps while protecting interior components from harsh weather conditions.
2 - Sturdy Mounting Bracket
* Easy mounting to either a pole or wall is achieved by bolting the top and bottom flanges to a secure surface. Both flanges are pre-slotted for quick initial mounting. Per-drilled bolt holes are provided for final fastening.
3 - Pre-cabled Meter Socket
* A meter socket is supplied for a standard utility meter. The meter socket is factory mounted and cabled from the main breaker through the meter socket to the starter. (meter supplied by utility)
4 - Main Breaker with Magnetic Trip
* Square D is the leading manufactures of moulded case circuit breakers. Therefore you can be assured of long and reliable service from this proven performer. Circuit breakers eliminate the need for fuses and thus require no maintenance. Some models of the C.I.P. have adjustable magnetic trip settings.
5 - Main Breaker Barrier
* The C.I.P. is C.S.A. approved, suitable for service entrance applications. Provides two separate compartments - the main breaker and the pivot cable terminating area.
6 - 2 Door Enclosure
* Outer door can be padlocked for protection against vandalism (padlock not supplied). All live components are concealed behind inner door for maximum safety. Breaker handle is operable only after outer door is open.
* Outer door is secured with stainless steel clasps and has gaskets to provide protection from outside elements.
7 - Spacious Interior with Provision for Optional Equipment
* The spacious interior of the C.I.P. allows for upgrading at any time. Knockouts are provided for any additional outgoing cables. The following option can be housed in a single C.I.P. unit, or a multi C.I.P. unit.
